Olympia Le-Tan

    Olympia Le-Tan is a French designer who makes handmade bags mainly in shapes of books. She is the daughter of a well-known French illustrator Pierre Le-Tan. Her love of books inspired her to create a handbag collection summing up in 21 clutches, in 16 different designs. Each of her designs is based on the covers of her favorite books, such as Lolita or Moby Dick. She does her beautiful work in a studio settled in the Japanese corner of Paris.
    Olympia is also famous for being fired from Balmain (where she was an intern) for making Claudia Shiffer wear "Balmain Bitch" t-shirt. Soon after this she launched her own collection.
